Max Miles was born in Jamaica and spent his early years between Jamaica and the Cayman Islands before moving to Toronto, Canada, with his family at age 18. A talented athlete, Max was actively involved in tournament chess, under-21 soccer, and squash through his early twenties.
His fascination with technology blossomed during his first year at university when he accepted a Junior Programmer Analyst position at IBM. After three years, he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship and co-founded a 3D animation start-up, successfully raising $500,000 through venture capital financing.
Later, Max transitioned into talent acquisition consulting, specializing in global recruiting for U.S. and Canadian firms. Outside of writing, his work splits in two: building AI agents and AI recruiting automation, and trading options and futures independently.
