Max Miles was born in Jamaica and spent his early years between Jamaica and the Cayman Islands before moving to Toronto, Canada, with his family at age 18. A talented athlete, Max was actively involved in tournament chess, under-21 soccer, and squash through his early twenties.

Professional Journey

His fascination with technology blossomed during his first year at university when he accepted a Junior Programmer Analyst position at IBM. After three years, he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship and co-founded a 3D animation start-up, successfully raising $500,000 through venture capital financing.

Later, Max transitioned into talent acquisition consulting, specializing in global recruiting for U.S. and Canadian firms. Outside of writing, he now works as an Options and Forex Trader and describes himself as a serial entrepreneur.

Motivation for Financial Education

Driven by the lack of explicit financial education during his upbringing, despite his parents' financial savvy, Max is committed to imparting financial literacy to children. He believes that simple strategies like budgeting and saving can set kids on the path to financial independence.
